Sean Bloomfield – Director/Producer
Independent filmmaker and author Sean Bloomfield is best known for the documentaries The Triumph and If Only We Had Listened, both of which explore the modern phenomena of miracles, apparitions, and spirituality. His work has been featured on The History Channel, ABC, Oprah’s OWN, Fox, PBS, EWTN, and across the globe on international television and cinema screens.
Published works include a novel, The Sound of Many Waters, and a new work for kids titled Dear Children. A former fishing guide and avid scuba diver, Bloomfield studied Writing and Communication at The University of Tampa, where his prose won the coveted Quilt Literary Magazine contest two consecutive years.
His work has taken him all over the world, including Rwanda, Bosnia-Herzegovina, New Zealand, and South America. A native Floridian, Sean and his wife reside in the Sunshine State with their three children. Visit his site.
Cimela Kidonakis – Producer/DP
Cimela Kidonakis is a documentary filmmaker with a passion for people and their stories. With a Greek father and a Mexican mother, Cimela loves to travel, especially to her father’s homeland, the island of Crete. She comes from a family of storytellers, she says, so telling stories through film comes naturally to her. When she’s not globe-trotting with a camera in hand, Cimela lives in Houston, Texas. Cimela is a graduate of the University of Saint Thomas in Texas with a degree in Communications.
Jessi Hannapel – Co-Producer
Jessi Hannapel is a young filmmaker from Dowagiac, Michigan. Since she was twelve years old, she has wanted to make inspiring movies that allow people to see the world in a different way. Her family has been a fantastic support throughout her life, and they encouraged her to pursue her passion for filmmaking. She recently graduated from Loyola University Chicago in May with a degree in Film and Digital Media Production. Through her school, Jessi was fortunate enough to study abroad in Rome where she gained a passion for traveling and experiencing other cultures.
Royce Hood – Co-Producer
Royce Hood, Esq. is an attorney, entrepreneur and producer. He served as co-executive producer for the epic short film Sing a Little Louder and as the promotional producer for The Triumph. He is also the co-author of the upcoming book A Deacon’s Reflections. Royce works with a number of non-profit organizations such as the Thomas More Society and Catholic Witnesses, and he is one of the founders of the Law of Life Summit. He lives near Chicago with his wife Elise and their two children.
Ben Wasiniak – Associate Producer
Ben Wasiniak is best known for his role in the groundbreaking documentary The Triumph, in which his conversion story was documented before he ultimately joined the Cenacolo Community. After doing his “walk” in community for three years, Ben has reunited with director Sean Bloomfield to help produce the upcoming films Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain. As Head Nacho, Ben will oversee the film equipment and assist with general producing duties. Ben is originally from Norwalk, Ohio.
